Haywards Heath, West Sussex

Sussex Housing & Care has doubled the capacity of its Oakwood Court care home facility with a carefully crafted extension. 

The new facility now provides 60 beds for those in need. In addition, improvements to the existing home are being carried out, including work to replace the commercial kitchen, and the construction of new foyer and receptions areas. 

Askival managed this sensitive project through the feasibility, planning and procurement stages working alongside the client, planning consultant, architects and contractors. The existing home needed to remain operational during construction and work was phased to minimise disruption.
