Askival helps assess equalities impact  at Enfield’s Meridian Water regeneration scheme

Askival has been working in partnership with Ottaway Strategic Management Limited on Enfield Council’s Meridian Water regeneration scheme.

The Askival team, headed up by director Tony Draper, assessed the likely impact of the scheme on different groups of people with protected characteristics in order to meet legal requirements under equality legislation.

Commenting on the appointment, Tony said: “This was an important opportunity for us.  It was really interesting to work on one of London’s largest regeneration schemes and to be involved in shaping elements of housing policy that will benefit local communities for years to come.

“Also, we were pleased to be working again with Ottaway Strategic Management.  Last year, our co-operation supported a successful ballot on a regeneration scheme in Waltham Forest, with 91.5% of residents voting in favour of the regeneration proposals.”
