Working with two clients for retrofit efficiencies

October 29, 2025

We are delighted to be supporting Westminster City Council (WCC) and Walterton & Elgin Community Homes (WECH) on an exciting pilot project for their ‘Retrofit North Paddington’ programme.

As client-side project managers, we are overseeing the retrofit of two adjacent properties — one owned by WCC and the other by WECH. Though a small scheme in terms of numbers, it brings together two clients with different end uses, coordinated to achieve economies of scale and shared value.

Askival director Mike Nestor explains:

“We’re at an early stage of this small but complex housing scheme. Our objective is to represent the interests of both parties so their respective needs are aligned. We’re used to juggling complexities and delivering value for money. Our goal is to provide a successful blueprint for Westminster’s wider retrofit ambitions.”

If you know of any local authorities or housing associations seeking support with similar retrofit or housing projects, please get in touch — we’d be happy to help.
