Askival welcomes Chris Dawes MRICS

We are delighted to announce that Chris Dawes has joined Askival.

A chartered surveyor with experience as a quantity surveyor and a residential and mixed-use development specialist, he brings a wealth of experience to our growing team of associates.

No stranger to Askival, he worked alongside us while he was with United House and Telford Homes as project director for Poplar HARCA’s Chrisp Street regeneration scheme.  His work covered all elements including planning and CPO processes.  While at Telford he also assisted the land team with site assessments and led the legal work on acquisitions and satisfying conditions of purchase agreements with HS1, HS2, TfL and local authorities. Chris also led the negotiations of development agreements with registered providers for affordable housing.

One of Chris’ highlights as new business director at United House, was achieving the successful joint bid and contract signing for the GLA land disposal of Gallions Reach amounting to 500 homes in two phases. Chris started his career as a quantity surveyor with a main contactor before moving to a regional developer contractor. He progressed to group managing director where he developed homes for private sale along with land led affordable housing developments with registered providers.
