Planning secured for 22 affordable family homes in Barnet

Askival has helped Agudas Israel Housing Association secure permission to build 22 affordable homes for local families in Barnet.

The site on Golders Green Road was already owned by the housing association and a sympathetic scheme, devised in co-operation with Rivington Street Studio, Jenkins & Potter Consulting Engineers and Bannerman Consulting Engineers, was submitted for planning approval last August. 

After a lengthy process, approval has just been secured for a mix of 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom apartments set over six storeys.

Askival will act as project managers throughout construction which is being undertaken by Jerram Falkus.

This scheme will provide a high proportion of good quality badly needed family sized shared ownership dwellings in a high value area in Barnet.
